These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Layers Hot Sauce website and your purchase of products from us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
All prices on our website are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and include applicable taxes where indicated. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. Prices are confirmed at the time of order placement. Product descriptions and images are provided for informational purposes and may vary slightly from the actual product due to photography, screen settings, or minor recipe adjustments between batches.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and other payment methods supported by Stripe. An order is confirmed only after successful payment processing. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent or contain errors in pricing or product information.
We currently ship within Canada only. Shipping rates and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout. Please refer to our Shipping page for full details. Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier.
Due to the perishable nature of food products, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the damage, and we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement or refund at our discretion.
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, product names, and the Layers Hot Sauce brand identity, is our property or the property of our licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on our site without our prior written consent.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Layers Hot Sauce shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or products. Our total liability for any claim related to a product shall not exceed the purchase price of that product. Hot sauce products contain capsaicin, which may cause irritation. Use products responsibly and keep them away from eyes and sensitive skin. We are not liable for discomfort resulting from normal use of hot sauce products.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Layers Hot Sauce, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of our products or website.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta, Canada.
